We run a daily Urgent Care clinic which is managed by a multidisciplinary team, consisting of a Duty Doctor, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, a Clinical Pharmacist and a Paramedic. If you need urgent same day medical assistance please phone the practice as soon as possible on our usual number.
The patient services team taking your call will need to take some details from you so they know which team member to book you in with. You will be contacted initially by the clinician via telephone call, so it is important that you answer the phone when called.
This service is strictly for NEW Medically Urgent problems, if your concern is not deemed suitable for the urgent care team you will be directed to a more appropriate service.
Please note this is not an emergency service, please call 999 if you feel your concern is an immediate threat to life.
Urgent care definition:
“Urgent care – the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions which are serious or acute but pose no immediate threat to life and health but which do require medical attention within 24 hours.”
