Blood Clinics (Phlebotomy)
Please phone our reception team to book in for any blood tests you are due. We also offer a self-book service for Chronic Disease bloods, an invitation to book with a booking link will be sent via text message around your month of birth for patinets who have a mobile phone number available.
Chronic Illnesses
We offer our patients with high blood pressure regular health screening and hold specialist clinics for asthma, diabetes, heart disease and COPD and other chronic Disease monitoring. We do perform minor surgery but if you need specialist advice or treatment you will be referred to hospital.
Stop Smoking Support
Available from our fully trained healthcare assistants; please contact reception for details.
Family Planning/Well Woman
We now run a weekly Well Womans clinic with is run by a female GP, as well as a contraceptiv enurse run clinic. Please ask one of our patient serivces team for more information.
Child Health
There is a programme of child development checks run in conjunction with the health visitors, and you will be invited to attend the surgery when your child’s immunisations are due.
Urgent Care Service
We run a daily Urgent Care service for patients who have an urgent ACUTE (new) minor illness or injury.
When you contact the surgery the receptionist will ask you a few questions to establish which service is suitable for your needs. If suitable for our Urgent Care Team, they will take your contact details and the Duty Doctor or Nurse will contact you. Often advice can be given over the phone, however if they feel you need to be seen they will offer you an appointment that day to come in.
We also offer a variety of other services which may be more suited to your requirements, such as Pharmacy referrals, MSK/Physiotherapy, Health & Wellbeing support & a remote GP “Livi” call back.
